S.o.B.: An inventor hatches a plan to turn his latest turkey into a hit: juice it up with pmlography and have his spouse-megastar (Andrews) plain her breasts. A glib satire on contemporary Movieland tosses in everything from black humor to dry, with wildly choppy outcomes. This was Holden's last film. Cast includes Julie Andrews, William Holden, Richard Mulligan, Robert Preston, Robert Vaughn, Loretta Swit, Larry Hagman, Marisa Berenson, Robert Webber, Stuart Margolin, Craig Stevens, Shelley Winters, Rosanna Arquette, and Jennifer Edwards. (121 minutes, 1981) Metropolis: Classic silent film fantasy of futuristic city and its mechanized civilization, with upperclass youthful guy leaving behind his life of luxury to join overpowered employees in revolt. Cast includes Brigitte Helm, Alfred Abel, Gustav Froelich, Rudolf Klein-Rogge, and Fritz Rasp. (124 minutes, 1927) Lillian Russell: This is a strained bio of the early 2Oth-century megastar. Lavish surroundings and weak plotline decrease Faye's work. Arnold replicates his Diamond Jim Brady role with zest. Cast includes Alice Faye, Don Ameche, Henry Fonda, Edward Arnold, Warren William, Leo Carrillo, and Nigel Bruce. (127 minutes, 1940) The Front Page: First filming of the Hecht-MacArthur play is strainful, ludicrous, and flamboyantly prompted. This version stands up relatively well alongside the redo. Cast includes Adolphe Menjou, Pat O'Brien, Mary Brian, Edward Everett Horton, Walter Catlett, Mae Clarke, and George E. Rock. (103minutes, 1931) The Great Manhunt: Fable of the West is nothing particularly special as McCrea dreams of oil wells, while Donlevy takes his gal. Stanwyck ages to one hundred in her role. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, Brian Donlevy, Thurston Chamber, K. T. Stevens, and Lucien Littlefield. (90 minutes, 1942) Foxtrot: O'Toole and his spouse escape Rumania in the late 1930s and shelter on an island heaven to hide from a planet getting ready to explode into battle. Shallow, unsurprising drama; filmed in Mexico. Cast includes Peter O'Toole, Charlotte Rampling, Max von Sydow, Jorge Luke, Helen Rojo, and Claudio Brook. (91 minutes, 1976) The Egyptian: Ponderous, often accidentally ludicrous biblical times soaper with Purdom cast as the tender, truth seeking title personality, set in old Egypt. Darvi's behavior as a femme fatale is humorously terrible. Cast includes Jean Simmons, Champ Mature, Gene Tiemey, Michael Wilding, Bella Darvi, Peter Ustinov, Edmund Purdom, Judith Evelyn, Henry Daniell, John Carradine, and Tommy Rettig. (140 minutes, 1954) Michael Clayton: The ethics of a law firm's "fixer" (Clooney) are set to the test while one of its tough lawyers (Wilkinson) has a nervous break down during the depositions of a huge class action suit. This film is a rock solid thriller. Cast includes George Clooney, Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton, Sydney Pollack, Michael O'Keefe, Ken Howard, David Lansbury, Denis O'Hare, and Austin Williams. (120 minutes, 2007) Nutcracker the Motion Picture: Much of this rendition of The Nutcracker, acted by the Pacific Notthwest Ballet, is like a music video with rapid cutting and close-ups of legs, faces, and elbows. This is extremely irritating. However the Tchaikovsky music is, obviously, amazing, as are Maurice Sendak's sets and costumes. Cast includes Hugh Bigney, Vanessa Acute" Patricia Barker, Plod Walthall, Russell Burnett, and the voice of Julie Harris. (89 minutes, 1986) Maybe you found a new movie to watch from this list As we said before, search with "Best Movie Downloads", or "Burn DVDs" to find good information on downloading.
